Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction is a practice of companionship. A spiritual director is a trained listener who will accompany you as you share about your spiritual journey, helping you to notice God’s presence and activity along the way, as well as your personal reactions and responses
Despite the word “direction” it is not about giving answers or instruction, but about attentiveness to God’s presence as you explore your faith, questions, and desires.
Through unhurried conversation and moments of silence, spiritual direction invites you to slow down, be where you are, and listen for what is unfolding.
Spiritual direction offers a place of connection, safety, and gentle support. It is a space for you to be exactly where you are, to speak what needs to be said, and to begin finding your way through unfamiliar territory with compassion and hope.
Generally directees meet monthly for one hour sessions with a director.
